ArteBa Focus, a new exhibition of Argentine contemporary art in La Boca

If you are one of those tourists that love art we have an excellent plan to recommend you in the city of Buenos Aires. In the context of the celebrations of the 25 years of arteBA it is presents ArteBA Focus. The new Argentine contemporary art exhibition will take place on 12 and 13 November at Arena Studios, in the neighborhood of La Boca and will have  the participation of 30 galleries and 80 artists from Argentina.

It will have a format completely different to the others editions of ArteBA, without stands and it is focused to a young public. In addition to the works exposed there will be “microcinemas” and a cycle of electronic and jazz music.

ArteBa Focus

This new exhibition of contemporary art seeks innovation in the fairs that have been made in the Argentine capital during the past few years. That is the reason why the organizers, Florence Battiti, Mariana Rodríguez and Karina Granieri, worked the space of Arena Studios, a shed that was formerly a blasting and still retains the manufacturing space features such as brick walls, floor of cement and high ceilings.

ArteBa Focus

The space was designed by architect Ariel Jacubovich and participate art galleries such as La Arte,  El Gran Vidrio, BUM, Diego Obligado and Del Infinito, Document Art, Gachi Prieto, Rubbers and Hache, among others.

The art works were made by Nicanor Aráoz, Elba Bairón, Daniel Basso, Jane Brodie, Dolores Cáceres, Beto de Volder, Matias Ercole, Diego Figueroa, Daniel Joglar, Luciana Lamothe, José Luis Landet, Luis Felipe Noé, Hernán Salvo and more.
