The ninth edition of the Ciudad Emergente Festival will be between the 20 and the 25 of September in the city of Buenos Aires.
Ciudad Emergente Festival begins
Ciudad Emergente Festival shows each year what Buenos Aires breathes through the youth. Since 2008 the festival was developed in a platform of presentation of new talents and artists of trajectory in growth.
Until last year the Buenos Aires meeting was developed in July and at the Recoleta Cultural Center. On this occasion it will be at the Usina del Arte, in the neighborhood of La Boca, from 20 to 25 of September.
Ciudad Emergente proposes a direct encounter with the music and new forms of artistic expression that appear. But not everything is music. There are also works of digital art, poetry, stand up, street art, photography, etc. More than 2000 artists participate in each edition.
The call to participate this year closed at the end of August and included five categories: Emerging Movement, Public Art, Music, Humor and Foodtubers.
In the last edition 400.000 people participated of the different activities that included samples photographic, dance, poetry, battles of hip hop, film, lectures and Street Art.
Free tickets
It is worth clarifying that all the shows are free. Only take into account that as the capacity of some rooms is limited, the entry will be by order of arrival.
