Music Nights in Notable Bars

 

In the city of Buenos Aires there are 73 bars that are the most representative of the city. They are called “Notable Bars” since they have been officially recognized as Heritage Cultural because of its antiquity and permanence in time, they have contributed to cultural and historical events, and because of its design architectural preserved. Since 2002, there are free concerts during the weekends from February to December with the participation of specially selected music groups.

Music Nights in Notable Bars they already have more than one decade when they began in Bar or Bar with Duo Baraj-Barruecos Tango – Jazz and more than 100 thousand people enjoyed it. The initiative aims to know the bars that were the meeting point of great musicians, the place for discussion of important writers or actors and politicians gathering spaces. The most emblematic bars are La Biela (the oldest bar operating since the year 1850), the Café Tortoni (second oldest) 36 Billaresel Británico in Lezama Park, Las Violetas, in Medrano, La Academia in Callao Av. with Corrientes Av., the Café de García (Devoto), El Gato Negro, Bar Oviedo (Mataderos), Confitería del Claridge, Clásica and Moderna and  La Ideal, among others.

If you are visiting the city of Buenos Aires it is an ideal plan to share the atmosphere of the coffe´s talks with musical shows of great artistic quality.

Tip: All those concerts are free entry until filled to capacity.
