A new edition of the Spring Roller in Palermo Woods

 

 A new edition of the Farmacity Spring Roller will be held on Sunday, September 18 at Palermo Woods.

The spring spreads the sports spirit to the inhabitants of the city of Buenos Aires. On sunday 18 of September will take place a new “Spring Roller” organized by Farmacity. It will be the fifth edition of this race that attracts more and more fans of the rollers. Last year participated more than 4,000 people between women, men and children.

Tour

On more time Palermo Woods will receive to Farmacity Spring Roller, with a renewed race of 6K. Participants are required to complete 2 turns to complete the 12K Fitness category.

The departure will be in Figueroa Alcorta Av. and Dorrego Av. and transit different streets and avenues of Palermo Woods.

Roller Kids

Children will also have their place in the race. They can ran the 2 K for children from 4 to 12 years of age where the use of helmet is compulsory. The use of knee pads, wrist guards and elbow pads is also recommended. Each registered will receive an official t-shirt of Spring Roller and a kit of surprises designed for them. In addition, the day of the event each participant who manages to complete the circuit will receive a medal. To enroll your child, you can do it from here.

• The fit of participants is limited. Once completed the quota entries are closed.
• Roller Fitness 12K Category:
  • Event for participants over the age of 13.
  • Period and value of enrollment by participant:
    • Stage 1 > From 09 – 29 of August: $310 Pesos with book of size of t-shirt.
    • Stage 2 > From August 30 to Setember 18:  $350 Pesos without book of size of t-shirt.
• Roller Kids 2K Category:
  • Event for participants from 4 to 12 years.
  • Period and value of enrollment by participant:
    • Stage 1 > From 09 – 29 of August: $310 Pesos with book of size of t-shirt.
    • Stage 2 > From August 30 to Setember 18:  $350 Pesos without book of size of t-shirt.

The registration fee includes participant Kit and official shirt (mandatory).

Important information

It is required a medical certificate of fitness suitable physics. Validity of certificate 1 year, presenting original and photocopy. The organization attached next to the tab the photocopy of the certificate, returning the original to the participant. For the category Rollerkids 2K it is not mandatory.

Schedules can vary with an advance or delay of 15 minutes without prior notice to them participating. It is recommended to arrive at the event with 1 hour in advance.

Tips to stay healthy

We recommend to:

• Undergo a medical examination prior to the race
• Do not participate if you have had an injury or illness recently
• Ensure a suitable diet prior to the race (rich in carbohydrate and low-fat)
• Rest the day prior
• Check the status of the rollers
• Do not put oil to bearings or wheels in the days prior to the competition
• Perform a good warm-up
• Hydrate it well during the race
• Make a good stretch at the end of the race
• Is recommended to exceed to another participant by the side left; people who go to lower rate of rotation are advised to always stay in the right lane
